Ahhh, STOP OVERTHINKING!!

GOSH!! this is so annoying! All these thoughts, they’re driving me crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! One scenario can be perceived in millions of different ways and somehow, I feel like my brain would always choose the negative ones! Am I the only one who thinks like this? Of course, my brain says yes, I’m the only stupid one, but let’s face the facts now, everyone has a tendency of overthinking and we overthink to an extent where we end up having sleepless nights or the worst mood swings ever!

How can I put a literal stop to this process? I don’t need so much negativity around me, I mean none of us want that but what do we do? Distract ourselves? Yes, sure that can work, but is that a permanent solution? I don’t think so…. Reading a book, doing something you like can definitely assist in making us feel better, however the downside to that is that the overthinking process is paused and will eventually replay once I stop doing what I was doing to stay distracted.

Sometimes, I feel so negative and nothing in life is working out, and this this whole thing with overthinking just makes me want to run away and there are time I feel my thought process is like tangled ear phones, because no matter how hard I try to entangle them, they end up getting worst, and simultaneously I started getting sick in my stomach where I feel like I need to talk to somebody or throw up. Oh yes, communication, that does help a lot I must say. Talking to your significant other or your loved one would definitely make you feel better and they might also help you solve the problem you’re facing and it does feel good but then again it might also lead to a whole other problem or you might “overthink” it to another problem which only exists in your head. There are always ifs and buts connected to every decision ever made, and you’re always in the vicious circles, waiting for it to get over.

You know what, IT IS ALRIGHT! Overthinking is okay, but DO NOT let it consume you. Accept how it is making you feel but change it. How can you change it? one way to do is be practical about it. Sit by yourself, get a notepad, make a pros and cons list, and trust what’s coming out of it. Honestly, something is always going to be left behind; you will always wonder whether the grass was really greener on the other side, and yeah you will have a few regrets in life especially if you got a negative outcome, but hey we are not perfect!

Mistakes are necessary, mistakes make us stronger and this is life. You need to fight it out, stand up for yourself even if that means you’re up against millions of obstacles on the other side. You just need to do this for yourself, and that’s all that matters. You have the power of overcoming any problem in your life, and to realize and use that power all you need to do is believe in yourself. We’re all pieces of coal that need to go through a few tough processes, but the moment we are past them, we’ll be shinning like diamonds!
